Lydia Apolinar

I take an eclectic approach when counseling clients and my integrative form of therapy adapts to your unique needs and goals. I work with teens, parents, families, individuals, and couples and create a tailored approach for each client. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have also worked with adolescents and their families as a Restorative Practice Coach for over 13 years and began my career as a professional counselor at a local rehabilitation center Nexus Recovery specializing in adolescents and adults who faced severe trauma and addiction struggles.

I am also currently a Student Support Specialist and have worked as an English Language Arts and English as Second Language teacher. I am painfully aware of the academic pressure and stressors teens and their families face that have been amplified since the pandemic and gently weave this influence into the therapeutic process.While life transitions can be daunting, it will be my privilege to walk beside you as we untangle the messiness of life together.

I am also fluent in spanish.

I do take most major insurances.
